Tuntun is an upcoming investment platform in Indonesia designed to simplify how users explore stocks, mutual funds, and manage their portfolios. Ahead of its official launch, HaloDesignStudio was tasked with conducting a comprehensive UX audit to ensure the app’s design meets market readiness standards.
The evaluation covered five key areas, User Interface, User Experience, User Feedback & Analytics, Design Psychology, and Compliance, with a focus on improving clarity, consistency, and accessibility across the product.
We assessed six core features: Registration, Stock Market, Mutual Funds, Transactions, Insights, and Portfolio. Through heuristic analysis and user flow mapping, we identified usability issues, streamlined interaction patterns, and refined the design system for better scalability.
The audit culminated in annotated Figma recommendations and recorded walkthrough sessions, equipping Tuntun’s team with actionable insights to enhance conversion, retention, and overall usability.
The primary goal was to evaluate Tuntun’s user experience holistically, ensuring every design decision supports clarity, confidence, and engagement in financial transactions.
We aimed to create a seamless investment experience by improving navigation, establishing visual hierarchy, and strengthening component consistency. The audit also prioritized accessibility and compliance, setting the foundation for a trusted and inclusive financial platform.
One key insight revealed that financial users value predictability as much as innovation. Clear feedback systems, consistent layouts, and recognizable patterns build the sense of control crucial for investment platforms.
We also learned that small UX refinements, like simplifying portfolio summaries or improving font contrast will significantly increase perceived reliability and trust.
This project demonstrated how structured UX audits can turn complex fintech products into intuitive, user-centered systems ready for competitive markets.
